"The Champions award honors local employers who assist DARS with hiring needs for persons with disabilities. Clay McCoy was nominated due to the work he does with our agency," said Amy Heinline, DARS Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
McCoy has worked closely with DARS representatives to place clients. In addition, he has shared information about the DARS program and the opportunities available to his colleagues at other organizations throughout the region.
"I am proud of all Montgomery County does for our employees and for the work Clay and our Human Resources team has done and continues to do with DARS," said Angie Hill, Montgomery County Deputy County Administrator and CFO.
"Partnering with DARS has enhanced our workforce," said Hill.
