There were seven American Indian students enrolled in Pulaski County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 75% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Pulaski County Public Schools District welcomed 4,361 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.2% of the student body to be the second least represented ethnicity in the school.

Pulaski County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Pulaski County and has a main office in Pulaski.

Among the eight schools in Pulaski County Public Schools District, Pulaski County Public Schools Virtual School K-12 recorded the highest enrollment of American Indian students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
