County of Amherst issued the following announcement on Aug. 13
The Amherst County Board of Supervisors, Library Board of Directors, and Library Staff congratulate the 2021 Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program Participants. One hundred and nineteen youth completed the library’s summer reading program this year. Together they read over 2,300 books and participated in virtual programs, storytimes, and read-along videos.
Readers who completed a book log of 20 books each earned an ice cream voucher and had their names entered into the drawing for the grand prize. Special congratulations to Logan Nash, our library summer reading grand prize winner!
