With storm clouds encroaching on April 14, University of Virginia photographer Sanjay Suchak was on assignment documenting the renovations to Alderman Library. Donning a hard hat, he took advantage of a rare opportunity to head to the building’s roof, and captured the Rotunda from an angle rarely seen. (Normally, the building’s roof is off limits.) Suchak was afforded a unique view on a blustery spring day.
