Virginia Tech Athletics announced on March 25 the launch of Taste of Tech, a new campaign designed to highlight food options for fans attending Hokie athletics events. The initiative will begin this spring at English Field and Tech Softball Park.

The campaign aims to enhance the fan experience by offering a variety of concession specials, classic ballpark foods, and creative menu items throughout the season. According to Virginia Tech Athletics, Taste of Tech is part of their ongoing effort to create memorable moments for Hokie Nation during gamedays.

At Hokie Softball games, the Grilled Cheese Food Truck will return for select events with its signature grilled cheese sandwiches and patty melts. This season’s featured menu items include jalapeño popper grilled cheese and a brunch-inspired bacon, egg & cheese grilled cheese. Mozzarella sticks are also being added as a new option this year.

For baseball fans at Hokie Baseball games, concessions will feature rotating highlights such as Baja chicken sandwiches, pierogies, BBQ sandwiches, soda floats, and other traditional favorites. Special promotions like the Strikeout Deal will allow attendees to purchase two concession items for $4 at select games.

Additional themed promotions are planned throughout the spring season. These include $1 popcorn games and special concession features during certain weekend series aimed at encouraging more fans to visit the ballpark.

Fans interested in receiving updates about Taste of Tech menu specials or exclusive offers can sign up for communications from Virginia Tech Athletics. The organization encourages supporters to attend upcoming games in order to explore new food offerings and discover potential favorites.
