This Week’s Event Highlights…

Are you a writer interested in meeting other local writers?  The Big Island Library’s Writers Group has moved its monthly meeting to the 4th Monday of every month from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

– The Moneta/SML Library will be hosting a Stuffed Animal Sleepover this Thursday, January 26th at 6:00 PM.   Bring your favorite stuffed pals as we read a bedtime story, make a craft, and have a snack.  Leave them with us overnight and come back the next day from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM to pick them up and share breakfast together as we hear about what the stuffies did at their sleepover.

– The Forest Library will be hosting a Cozy & Crafty: Winter Reading Event on Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Meet new friends and connect with old ones at this event with a cookie/recipe exchange!  Additional snacks and drinks will be provided but please bring your best homemade cookies to share.  We will also have card crafting and coloring supplies available.  For ages 12+.

– Join us at the Moneta/SML Library on Saturday, January 28th at 2:30 PM for our monthly Saturday Matinee presentation of Elvis!
