On Saturday, March 8, former Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Cats this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats.
