On Sunday, March 2, former Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Findlay Oilers.

The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Oilers this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Pittsburgh Johnstown Mountain Cats.
