SECOND NIGHT ADDED FOR ‘UVA NIGHT AT WINTER WANDER’ AT BOAR’S HEAD RESORT

Due to an extraordinary response, the University of Virginia will provide a second night for the “UVA Night at Winter Wander” at no cost to faculty, staff and students.High demand for the initial UVA Night at the Boar’s Head Resort’s Winter Wander Trail of Lights, set for Monday, quickly exhausted ticket supplies.
The second opportunity will be on Wednesday – but once again, ticket supplies are limited and likely to be reserved quickly. Pre-registration using a “Virginia.edu” email address is required. Tickets are intended for faculty, staff, students and their immediate families. UVA faculty and staff are invited to attend Winter Wander on Wednesday between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.Ticket registration for the Wednesday event may be completed at the faculty and staff registration section on the UVA Night at Winter Wander site. Each person may request a maximum of six tickets.Students will be able to obtain up to four tickets to attend the additional UVA Night on Wednesday by visiting student registration section. Winter Wander for students begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday and ends when the lights are turned off at 10:30 p.m.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, as well as photos with Santa.
Those attending the UVA Nights at Winter Wander can drive to the resort at 200 Ednam Dr. and follow signs for the Winter Wander main entrance once on site.
Students needing a ride to the events may use a shuttle service provided by the University Transit Service. Pick-up for the shuttle will be in front of the McCormick Road residence halls (across from the Chemistry Building) and will depart every 15 minutes starting at 7:45 p.m. Return shuttles will run from the Boar’s Head until 10:45 p.m.
