University of Virginia recently issued the following announcement.
BLUE RIDGE ESG SEMINAR
SATURDAY, JANUARY 15 – SUNDAY, JANUARY 16, 2022
The Blue Ridge ESG Seminar will explore how companies are realizing that a values-driven strategy provides strong returns, builds resiliency, and increases employee retention. The two-day conference will help develop socially responsible leaders, benefiting all students seeking to position themselves for careers in this emerging area. Keynote speakers, panel discussions, a case workshop with corporate executives, and numerous networking opportunities will provide valuable and timely insight into all aspects of ESG.
The event is open to all UVA students, with a small number of spots set aside for students from other universities. Attendance is capped at 100 students due to space limitations.
Registration is $50/student and includes meals during the seminar. Need-based scholarships are available to cover the registration fee.
