Town of Christiansburg recently issued the following announcement.
The Dialogue on Race Law Enforcement Subcommittee meets the second Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. For now, meetings are being held virtually. If you would like to participate in a meeting, please contact Wornie Reed at wornie@exchange.vt.edu. The committee is comprised of Montgomery County law enforcement leaders and residents. Chaired by Wornie Reed, the committee focuses on improving race relations, eliminating racial profiling, achieving law enforcement employee hiring that resembles the county's racial makeup, and supporting community policing efforts
