City of Blacksburg issued the following announcement on Oct. 5
Blacksburg High School Homecoming Parade
The Blacksburg High School Homecoming Parade will be held on Wednesday, October 13 from 6-7pm in Downtown Blacksburg. The parade will begin at Eheart Street near the Midtown Development and continue down Main Street and end at Alumni Mall. This portion of Main Street will be closed during the parade times.
Virginia Tech Homecoming Parade
The Virginia Tech homecoming parade will be held on Friday, October 15 from 6:30-8pm. The parade will begin Washington Street and Beamer Way and continue down Washington Street onto Main Street and end at Alumni Mall. Washington Street will be closed at approximately 6:30pm and Main Street will be closed at approximately 7pm and remained closed until the parade has concluded.
