Town of Christiansburg issued the following announcement on May. 29.
The Public Works Department is planning utility upgrades in the area of Cambria Street NE and Jackson Street NE on Wednesday, June 2, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. During this timeframe, Cambria Street NE will be detoured onto Yellow Sulphur Road and Block Lane from both directions. Jackson Street will only be accessible from Pickett Street. This will allow crews to install a new water main line across Cambria Street to serve Jackson Street. At this time, no service disruptions are expected for utility customers.
