The Radford men’s basketball team will conclude its regular season on Saturday with a game against the Longwood Lancers at the Joan Perry Brock Center in Farmville, Virginia. The matchup is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Earlier this season, Radford secured a narrow victory over Longwood with a final score of 85-83, thanks to a last-second layup by sophomore Del Jones, who led the team’s scoring with 25 points. In their series history, Radford holds a 32-11 advantage over Longwood and has won four of the last five meetings.

Radford recently set a new program record for three-pointers in a single season, reaching 288 and surpassing the previous record of 285 from the 2018-19 season. Key contributors to this achievement include Jaylon Johnson (65), Dennis Parker Jr. (59), Lukas Walls (44), Del Jones (40), and Louie Jordan (31).

Longwood enters the game after winning two of its last three contests, both victories coming in overtime. The Lancers have claimed three conference wins in extra time this season. Elijah Tucker leads Longwood during conference play with averages of 13.4 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, while Redd Thompson Jr., who scored 22 points against Radford earlier this year, is also expected to be an important player.
