On Tuesday, March 4, former Blacksburg High School standout Lindsey Polan’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the King Tornado.
The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Tornado this season.
The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12:55 p.m. at Bill Gatton Softball Field against Limestone Saints.

Bree Carrico has been named an NFCA Top 10 Freshman of the Year finalist after leading Virginia Tech softball with standout performances all season. She recently received additional honors as ACC Freshman of the Year and will compete next during ACC Championship play.
