On Sunday, March 2, former Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Findlay Oilers.
The game took place at Welch Athletic Complex. This was their third matchup against the Oilers this season.
The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 3:45 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Findlay Oilers.

Bree Carrico has been named an NFCA Top 10 Freshman of the Year finalist after leading Virginia Tech softball with standout performances all season. She recently received additional honors as ACC Freshman of the Year and will compete next during ACC Championship play.
