Ned Hull to join Virginia Tech men’s basketball for 2026-27 season

Mike Young and the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team announced on May 27 the signing of guard Ned Hull. Hull, who stands at 6-foot-3, played for Elon University as a redshirt sophomore last season, appearing in 32 games and averaging 4.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Hull faced Virginia Tech with the Phoenix on December 20, where he scored six points and made two of three attempts from beyond the arc. In the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament, Hull matched his career high by scoring 15 points against William & Mary, making four three-pointers in that game.

Over his collegiate career so far, Hull has played in a total of 44 games and holds a career three-point shooting percentage of 35 percent.

Hull is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina.
