Medicaid surgery-related payments rise 16.2% in Boones Mill for 2024

In 2024, Medicaid providers in Boones Mill billed $637 for services classified as Surgery, data from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid Provider Spending database shows. This was a 16.2% increase over 2023, when providers filed $548 in claims for these services.

Within Surgery, most Medicaid payments were linked to just a handful of billing codes.

Compared to a 16.2% increase for Surgery-related Medicaid payments in Boones Mill between 2023 and 2024, the overall change for all Medicaid claim categories in the area during that span was 12.3%.
