On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Blacksburg High School standout MaKayla Dowdy’s current college team, the Emory & Henry Wasps, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Tiffin Dragons.
The game took place at Dorothy Neely Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Dragons this season.
The Wasps’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium against North Georgia Nighthawks.
