On Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m., Lynchburg Hornets pitcher and Auburn High School alum McKenzie Booth saw her college team fall 10-2 to the Salisbury Sea Gulls in NCAA Division III softball play.

The contest was hosted at Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium. This markd the teams’ second encounter of the season. In their earlier game on Friday, March 13, the Hornets prevailed 4-2.

Booth gave up three earned runs in 2.2 innings, with one walk and one strikeout.

The Hornets are slated to face the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels on Wednesday, March 18, at 2:30 p.m. at Aubrey R. Moon Jr. Field.
