Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.39 per gallon at one gas station in Pulaski County during the week ending Mar. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of midgrade gas across the county was $3.77 per gallon.
Of the 31 reported gas stations in cities within Pulaski County, nine offered midgrade gas.
Across Virginia, the average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas rose to $4, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
