On Sunday, March 9, former Blacksburg High School standout Lindsey Polan’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davis & Elkins Senators.

The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Senators this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at McCrorie Family Stadium against Lenoir-Rhyne Bears.
