On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Blacksburg High School standout Lindsey Polan’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12:55 p.m. at Bill Gatton Softball Field against Virginia State Trojans.
