On Saturday, March 8, former Blacksburg High School standouts Katey Mathena and Lorelei Spradlin’s current college team, the Carson-Newman Eagles, won 12-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.

The game took place at The Vick. This was their second matchup against the Railsplitters this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. at Wingate Softball Complex against Wingate Bulldogs.
