Delegate Chris Obenshain, a Republican representing Virginia’s 41st House district, recently shared several updates on his social media account, ranging from personal tributes to public appearances.
On December 13, 2025, Obenshain posted in support of the annual Army-Navy football game, writing “GO ARMY! BEST NAVY!”.
The following day, December 14, 2025, he reflected on his participation in a veterans’ event: “I was honored to be asked to deliver remarks this afternoon at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery for their annual @WreathsAcross America ceremony. It was a beautiful day in Dublin to honor all who have served and remember their sacrifices for our nation. Thank you so much”.
On December 15, 2025, Obenshain responded to news about the passing of filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife with a tribute: “Awful to hear about the tragic death of Rob Reiner and his wife. The Princess Bride is one of the Top 5 movies ever made and I’ve always admired the risk he took to get it done. He was undoubtedly a master of his craft.”
Obenshain began serving as delegate after being elected in 2024 to represent Virginia’s 41st House district, succeeding Eileen Filler-Corn.
