Delegate Chris Obenshain, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, shared updates and messages with his constituents through a series of posts on social media in late August and early September 2025.

On August 31, 2025, Obenshain posted a message in support of Virginia Tech’s football team: “Happy Hokie Gameday, everyone! Beat South Carolina!”

The following day, September 1, he recognized the efforts of workers across the Commonwealth with a Labor Day message: “To everyone who gets up early, puts in the long hours, and works hard to build something better for their family and community – we say thank you. Your commitment and initiative inspire others and keep our Commonwealth moving forward. Happy Labor Day!”

On September 2, Obenshain reflected on an event supporting his re-election campaign. He wrote: “It was an oustanding start to the day having Fmr. Governor George Allen and Attorney General Jason Miyares at the Hotel Roanoke to support my re-election to the House of Delegates. Thanks to the enthusiastic crowd of friends and supporters for getting up early today!”

As a delegate in Virginia’s legislative body, Chris Obenshain regularly engages with local events and state political figures while communicating directly with residents through social media platforms.
