Delegate Chris Obenshain, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, shared several updates about his recent campaign activities and engagements in a series of posts on social media.

On August 29, 2025, Obenshain posted about attending an event with local party members: “It was great to be in a packed room with the @RoanokeGOP last night to give a campaign update with 67 days left until Election Day. Grateful for their enthusiasm and strong support for our Republican ticket!”

Later that day, he highlighted outreach efforts at Virginia Tech: “Team Obenshain is out on the drillfield for Gobblerfest today. Come by to get some snacks and some Obenshain swag. Go Hokies!” The annual Gobblerfest event at Virginia Tech is designed to introduce students to campus organizations and community groups.

On August 30, 2025, Obenshain noted a visit from Winsome Earle-Sears: “It was incredible to have our next Governor, Winsome Earle-Sears, come to Virginia Tech today. She embodies the VT motto ‘Ut Prosim,’ meaning ‘That I May Serve.’ The students were so excited to meet her and I can’t wait to keep working with her to keep our Commonwealth thriving!” Winsome Earle-Sears previously served as Lieutenant Governor of Virginia.

These posts reflect ongoing campaign activity leading up to the general election in November. Delegate Chris Obenshain represents parts of Southwest Virginia in the House of Delegates.
