Delegate Chris Obenshain, an active voice on social media, recently shared a series of updates via Twitter. These tweets cover topics ranging from educational grants to economic policies in Virginia.
On July 7, 2025, Obenshain highlighted the Governor’s office announcement regarding new grants through GO Virginia aimed at developing the skilled workforce in emerging industries. He noted that “one of those grants will go to launching new curriculum in Montgomery County Schools to introduce students to high-demand” fields.
The following day, on July 8, Obenshain posted about his visit to a newly opened Buc-ee’s location in Bridgewater. He expressed enthusiasm for the development by stating “Side quest complete! It was great to swing by the new Bridgewater @bucees after a meeting today. I loved seeing lots of folks from all over stopping here in the Commonwealth!”
Later that same day, he tweeted about Virginia’s economic strategies and their impact on job growth. In his post, he emphasized “This is a great example of the smart policies we have been pursuing to make Virginia more competitive and keep growing jobs. Let’s keep it going, Virginia!”
These updates come as part of ongoing efforts within Virginia to foster economic growth and enhance educational opportunities for its residents.
