On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Christiansburg High School standouts Clay Clatterbaugh and Mason Self’s current college team, the Radford Highlanders, lost 17-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Akron Zips.
The game took place at Sherman Carter Memorial Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Zips this season.
The Highlanders’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park against James Madison Dukes.
