On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Braves this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Findlay Oilers.
