Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Friday, Feb. 7

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Christiansburg High School standout Tanner Evans’ current college team, the Charleston Golden Eagles, lost 13-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Carson-Newman Eagles.

The game took place at Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Welch Athletic Complex against Trevecca Nazarene Trojans.
