Delegate Chris Obenshain, a Republican member of the Virginia State House representing the 41st district since 2024, has recently used his social media platform to comment on upcoming political decisions and personal matters.
On February 13, 2026, Obenshain addressed the issue of congressional redistricting in Virginia. He stated, “On April 21, Virginians will decide whether to keep the drawing of our Congressional seats out of the hands of politicians or whether to allow the ghost of partisan gerrymandering to return. Get out and vote NO to stop gerrymandering and maintain Virginia’s fair, compact, and https://t.co/o85pCQIQIx”.
The following day, February 14, he shared a personal message for Valentine’s Day: “Happy Valentine’s Day to the heart of our family and love of our lives. Jennifer, we are so blessed to have your wisdom, peace and quiet strength supporting us each and every day. Today we honor you. Love, the Obenshain men. https://t.co/UuHlH4e1uR”.
On February 15, Obenshain returned to political commentary regarding campaign messaging around redistricting. He wrote: “No surprise. The goal is to repeat a lie so frequently and so loudly that voters either believe it or give up pushing back on it. It’s why Democrats have made the grotesque claim of ‘fairness’ central to their campaign. Voting NO on April 21 is the only way to stop it. https://t.co/KjZd0jCiH6”.
Obenshain was elected in 2024 after succeeding Eileen Filler-Corn as representative for Virginia’s 41st House district.
