Delegate Chris Obenshain, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, recently shared several updates on his social media account. His posts highlighted both community engagement and personal reflections.
On September 20, 2025, Obenshain posted a brief message: “FINAL-LY.”
Later that day, he recapped participation in a local event: “Team O had an amazing time out at the Wilderness Trail festival today in Christiansburg. Great music, great food, and great support. I enjoyed seeing my friend @JohnReid4VA and my colleague @DRSuetterlein. The boys enjoyed playing with the puppies. Thanks to everyone who” (September 20, 2025).
The following day, Obenshain reflected on his roles both professionally and personally: “I’ve held a lot of tough jobs – prosecutor, Soldier, Delegate. But my most important job is being a husband and father to my three boys. That’s why I’ll always stand up for the hard-working parents here in Southwest Virginia. Whether it’s reducing taxes, expanding childcare” (September 21, 2025).
As background, Chris Obenshain represents part of Southwest Virginia in the House of Delegates and has previously served as a prosecutor and soldier before entering state politics.
