Chris Obenshain, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 representing the 41st House district, shared a series of posts on his Twitter account between May 6 and May 8, 2026. The tweets cover personal reflections and public acknowledgments.

On May 6, Obenshain posted, “This is so relatable.”

Two days later, on May 8, he expressed support for Virginia Tech with the post: “Go Hokies!”

Later that day, he acknowledged Military Spouse Appreciation Day by posting: “While every day in our house is Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we join in today’s special recognition. I am forever grateful for an amazing wife who supports/endures my dual careers and keeps all these boys on track. Thanks to all the military spouses out there that contribute”.

Obenshain succeeded Eileen Filler-Corn as representative of Virginia’s 41st district after winning the election in 2024. He has balanced his legislative duties with other professional responsibilities since taking office.
