Chris Obenshain, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 representing the 41st district, recently posted several messages on his Twitter account marking significant dates and events.
On May 10, 2026, Obenshain acknowledged Mother’s Day with a message to mothers: “Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. We celebrate you today!”
The following day, May 11, he noted an upcoming event with the post: “One month to go! “
Later on May 11, during National Police Week, Obenshain expressed gratitude toward law enforcement officers and their families: “On this National Police Week, we say thank you to all the brave men and women who protect and serve our communities. We also give thanks to their families for the sacrifices they endure for having a loved one in the line of duty. Let us honor those who serve and remember those”
Obenshain succeeded Eileen Filler-Corn as representative of Virginia’s 41st House district after his election in 2024.
