Chris Obenshain, a Republican elected to the Virginia State House in 2024 representing the state’s 41st House district, addressed several topics on his social media account on April 1, 2026.

In a post published at 11:17 a.m., Obenshain cautioned voters about an upcoming constitutional amendment in Virginia. He wrote, “This April, don’t be Fooled by deceptive language and multimillion dollar ad campaigns. Know what you are voting on. A vote for Virginia’s constitional amendment won’t ‘restore fairness’ to our elections, but it will have a significant impact. A yes vote is a vote to: Bring https://t.co/UrekAuDK8j”.

Later that day at 4:32 p.m., Obenshain marked an important event in space exploration by posting, “Happy launch day! This evening NASA is scheduled to launch astronauts to fly around the moon for the first time in more than 50 years. Let’s go! https://t.co/FZ6pAANAaC”.

At 9:00 p.m., he extended holiday greetings with the message, “Chag Pesach Sameach! Sending wishes for a joyful and meaningful Passover to all our Jewish neighbors. https://t.co/zmWto5Bpd7”.

Obenshain assumed office after replacing Eileen Filler-Corn as representative of Virginia’s 41st House district following his election in 2024.
