On Saturday, April 19, former Blacksburg High School standout Lindsey Polan’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mars Hill Lions.
The game took place at Ponder Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
