On Friday, Feb. 28, former Blacksburg High School standout Lindsey Polan’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Lees-McRae Bobcats.

The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Bill Gatton Softball Field against Mansfield Mountaineers.
